Accessibility Statement

Our approach to accessibility

We aim to ensure that our website is:

  • Clear and easy to read

  • Simple to navigate

  • Compatible with commonly used assistive technologies where possible

We have designed our website with accessibility in mind and continue to review it as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusive practice.

Standards we aim to follow

We aim to make our website accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as referenced by the UK public sector accessibility regulations and recognised as good practice for private organisations.

While our website is not legally required to meet these standards, we believe it is important to take reasonable steps to support accessibility.

What this website includes

Our website provides:

  • General information about lifestyle medicine

  • Information about our services and approach

  • Links to a third‑party organisation for appointment booking and consultation facilities

Third‑party booking and consultation services

Appointments and consulting rooms are provided via The Wellness Clinic, Wokingham. This means that parts of the booking journey and in‑person consultation facilities are outside of our direct control.

The third‑party provider:

  • Manages its own website and booking systems

  • Has its own accessibility statement, which applies to those services

  • Is responsible for the accessibility of its physical consulting rooms and digital booking platforms

We encourage you to review the third‑party provider’s accessibility information directly if you have specific access requirements related to booking or in‑person appointments.

Known limitations

We recognise that no website is perfect, and there may be areas where accessibility could be improved. For example:

  • Some third‑party content or links may not fully meet accessibility standards

  • Older content may not yet meet all current best‑practice guidelines

We are committed to improving accessibility where it is reasonable and within our control.

Feedback and contact information

If you experience any difficulty accessing information on our website, or if you would like the information provided in an alternative format, please contact us.

We welcome feedback and will do our best to respond promptly and make reasonable adjustments where possible.
